My favorite post from the Canucks forum tonight...

"It's ironic that the team full of rookies play like men, and a team full of veterans play like little boys. What a joke. At least make our first round exit quick and easy so our suffering isn't prolonged any more than it has to be"

Is it wrong to enjoy others' suffering so much? F*** it, I enjoy it.

Completely agree, I thought he was maybe the best Flame forward. Its a 200 ft game and none did it better tonight. As Hrudey said re Johnny, he turns it over because he has the puck more. So did Backs.

Hahaha saw this in HF boards "...it's really too bad, just a couple unlucky bounces on those Flames goals..." yeah OK bud!

Also the Flames have gone 3-0-0 when I wear Flames boxers on game day...

And lastly the hilarious audio of "Shut up!" "You ####ing shut up!" https://vine.co/v/ez7F3pTU7JB

I guess while I'm logged in... Game got progressively better from a flames perspective. It seemed Russell's GWG was one of the first times in the game we actually had a chance to do our usual D back and forth passing/shot.

Hard fought win!

Sam Bennett, the first player to win the Conn Smythe trophy before winning the Calder.

True. But Hudler and Monahan playing injured sure makes it easier to shut them down. Those guys were losing an uncharacteristic amount of puck battles.

Gaudreau was essentially carrying that line on his back.
Good thing he's a wizard.

I have a silly superstition where the volume level on the tv matched a flames player. After the 2nd I changed it to 19. Don't know why just had a feeling.

life is good

Hughson actually seemed to get better as the game went on. At least he can call a game well despite his homerism.

Yup. Ferland was running around with impunity after that and hitting everything. There was a moment when I was hoping Bieksa would fight Ferland, but no, d-bag bieksa must have had some doubt that he could beat him, so no fight. Loved that.

Ferland 's turning into Ronnie Stern. That's what I see happening right now.
