As a Canuck fan I completely expect the flames to have an amazing 2nd period.

I like how Hughson didn't even sound phased when Bennett made that amazing power/finesse move to the net.. even though it was the best individual effort of the period. My heart already taking a toll with his exaggeration of every Nucks play.

Really like what I saw from Bennet in the first period. The kid has a ton of speed and absolutely no fears of going to the net. Had our best scoring chances in that period.

Hughson is a loser.. he calls an exciting game, if you're his team. It's crap.

Don't think so, it was too quick. I think Ferland's used to guys responding to "let's go" by stepping up.

I think we might see our top line mixed up before the series is over.

Dumb penalty by Ferland, heart in the right place brain wasn't! Otherwise he has played well!
Sam Bennett? He looks scary good!
Not the best of periods but I will take nothing nothing going into the second!

Team definitely fighting the puck a bit, not really crisp with passing.
Good that the team got the first playoff period under their belts, now forget its playoffs and play your game.
Ferland with a complete dumb ass play. I don't buy the inexperience thing either. Even people who've never played hockey know you don't do that in the playoffs. Smarten up.

he's a ####ing hack when it comes to Canucks games and always has been.
It's on Rogers since they let him do the games.

Actually, I'd rather not have to.
It's an easy solution, get a pro, not a fanboy.

So typical of the CBC. That and having Homer Hughson calling his beloved Canucks in the first round. Just horrible.

One goal shouldn't cost anyone the game. You act like dumb penalties have never been taken before.

Oh give it a rest. He's a rookie who plays a hard nosed physical game. He's amped up, give the guy a break, he made a mistake.

You're just as bad. Hughson is brutal, and it's going to continue being pointed out whether you like it or not.

Other than Hughson's buzzer beater comment he hasn't been bad. Probably as good as one could hope, sadly.
