Some buddies of mine will give you one for free. Meet them at the S.E. vacant lot in the East Village at 2:00 a.m. - come alone.

Co-op gas station was selling them too over the weekend. I would assume that would mean Co-op itself would be, but never went inside to confirm that

I pulled up at a light next to a guy with a Canucks flag who looked over and gave me a death glare - I'm not taking any chances leaving mine on while I'm parked at the station. It only takes two seconds to put them back on when you get to your car and I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Well wish my flags some luck then! I'm hoping that since I parked in the reserve lot where lots of ppl walk that they would be fine.

I have an extra one I could part with. From 2004, still in good shape. Free if you pick up.

Had my first rescue of the season the other day. Riding my motorbike (flag and all) when I spotted a flag laying on the other side of the road. Even though I was running late, I turned around, pulled over and stuffed the flag in my jacket. The stem was broken, but the flag now proudly hangs above my desk @ work.

In the 04 run, we (my son and I, he was 7 at the time) spent a lot of time backtracking to rescue fallen flags. He was on lookout and every time he spotted one, the siren (him) would go off and I would figure out a way back to the scene. I was late a lot those days.

I urge all of you to do the same (when possible, please be safe). The flag is a symbol of this team and all the hard work that has gone into it and does not deserve to be laying in a gutter.

Just my humble opinion

PS - I just read what I wrote and am shocked. My son was 7, he is now 18. Oh. my. God.

Give them the international "choke" sign.

I can't find any in Saskatoon. Can Tire had friggin Sens and Jets flags though. No luck at Sportchek either.

I have a flames decal on my back window but I still feel the need to up the degree in which I express my fandom. Gonna try Jersey City this weekend.

We'll know we've hit "Peak Flame" when driving Crowchild trail is again dangerous due to driers dodging all the downed car flags, not wanting to disrespect or curse the flames by driving over the logo. 2004 was hilarious with the broken car flags scattered everywhere.

Car flags dont work for me this time. My vehicle has those wind/rain guards at the top of the windows. Any suggestions on how to attach something in my situation?

Pay a neighbour kid to hold a flag out the window while you drive.

We're still a ways from that scenario it seems. I didn't see one flag on the way to work this morning (and man was I looking, because I had mine on for the first time too).

How much you looking to pay? Both my boys are over 6'2". One is a rugby player and is about 240lbs. Could double as a bodyguard.

I'm sure there's a red flag joke somewhere in here too.
