UPDATE: JumpOn! Take 2, One-Day Flight To Vancouver For Game 5 (Thurs Apr 23)
So JumpOn just released a flight for this Friday April 17...
Leaving Noon and coming back to Calgary leaving Vancouver at 11:50PM $289 plus a $25 discount using the promo code below.
They've set this up specifically for Game 2, and seeing how enough tickets are available it's a pretty good deal.
See here for details:
https://www.gojumpon.com/booking/72
If anyone's interested and hasn't signed up yet use this promo code: JG541.
The flight offer is open until 11:00PM April 16, needs 96 more bookings otherwise the flight will be canceled.
My friend and I just jumped on this (only 4 bookings so far)...let's make this happen CP!

Hopefully game 2 doesn't go into more than 2 OT's, or you are not making that flight back.

Indeed.
I did e-mail JumpOn about this, seeing how it's specifically meant for the game if they'd push it back.
But in general you are correct.

This is amazing! Just booked it, tons of tickets for game 2 on ticketmaster right now too. Lets fill this plane and party all the way up and back. Best part is we don't even have to stay the night in ####ty Vancouver.

What happens if the game goes to triple OT? Will they hold the plane for us?

Good question,
I did send an e-mail to inquire when I hear back I'll post.
I'd hope so, given this flight is meant for this game...

I just looked more closely, I suppose this $289 price doesn't include game tickets and ground transportation to-and-from the airport in Richmond...

in 89 we did something similar for games 3&4 so it included a couple nights downtown in a hotel as well.
It was a blast but let me warn those going...
be prepared for severe harassment of which more times than not crossed the line. I can, and have, taken verbal assaults until the cows come home....no big deal.
But that crowd won't just stop at that more often than not. We had drinks thrown at us, some guys were throwing pennies from behind at warp speed that cut one guy open and injured a couple others, one young child had his little flames pendant ripped out of his hands, and several physical altercations occurred both in the arena and outside. It was a gong show. Although it was 26 years ago now, nothing exists to indicate that fan base has evolved or changed for the better one iota.
So be prepared, have a blast, and be loud and proud of the team.

Tickets are extra, however, have a look on Ticketmaster and even StubHub a couple days ago had some tickets for below face.

I just added it for people who didn't know. Plus it gives you a couple options and ideas on price.

I was lucky - my wife, then girlfriend - got me and a friend tickets to game 7 there in 2004 .
I was very well behaved - no identifying flames gear, no loud cheering, etc. Only time that I literally felt scared at a game.
My time living in the city was great, fantastic city, great people. But sorry, the fans at that game....yikes.

I remember being in the concourse in Calgary after one playoff game that Vancouver won in 2004 and people were jumping Vancouver fans. Literally a huge pile of people all jumped on a few Vancouver fans. I don't know what started the altercation, but we all have fans we're ashamed of.
I've only been to a few games here in Vancouver with Flames gear on and people have been generally good. A few people booed me, but that was about it. I'm assuming s### gets real in the playoffs though.
