In a full-season? The lowest in a long time.
2012-13 (lockout): St. Louis had 60 pts.
1994-95 (lockout): Jagr had 70 pts.
1967-68: Mikita also had 87 pts.
1962-63: Howe had 86 pts.

Art Ross award most dives in a season? Shameful winner this year.

Good for him, hell of a player. Would kill to have him on the Flames.

He's an incredible player... Just wish he would cut out the diving, there's absolutely no reason for him to do that garbage.

He always strikes me as Brad Marchand x100 with offensive flair. Someone you just can't stand on the ice, but his own team likes him.

Lazy junior player?
He's 3rd in points from the 2007 draft class (behind Voracek by a small amount and Patrick Kane by a lot).

TL;DR, weak/non-explosive skater, offensively gifted but lacking defense, played in BCHL

Really? The guy wins the Art Ross, is the best power forward in the game, and you wouldn't take him on the Flames? And you'd want him on the Canucks?
People hate playing him because he's good (and some think he dives, I don't see it personally), but I guarantee most of them would gladly take him on the Flames. I know I would.

I'll never understand some people. You wouldn't want a PPG, tough as nails power forward who just won the Art Ross? All because a few posters think he's a diver? Who cares? Would you also not take Crosby or Malkin on this team? Lunacy.

The craziest thing is he really put up 87 points in 56 games. He had 26 games with no points at all. He and Seguin are pretty much the best duo in the league.

lol, it doesn't work that way. You could do that for every player in the league.
Johnny had 30 games with no points at all, so he had 64 points in 50 games then, as a rookie.
Tavares had 26 games with no points at all, so he had 86 points in 56 games....pretty much exactly the same as Benn.
