I'll go out on a limb and say Jets in 6. Anaheim has been mediocre since the All-Star break.

Jets in 6 or 7. The Jets are not in the playoffs by accident.

Can't stand the Ducks, and I hope they fail miserably. Jets in 7.

The Ducks goaltending scares me. Not enough experience going forward and that could be the deciding factor in this series. Have to go with the Jets in 6 games

Ducks in 5 or 6. Getzlaf & Perry are just too much to handle.

First instinct is to pick the Ducks but they aren't exactly playoff warriors as they seem to be a better version of the post 2004 Flames that were first round warmups for their opponents. That said I'm still not a Jets believer so while I think they could pull off the upset I will go with the Ducks in 7.

If the jets win there won't be any lingering curse for the Flames to deal with in rd 2. Also, there will be a Canadian team in the WCF. So i will guess and hope for the Jets to win in 7...and pray that team isn't from Vancouver.

I'm going to make a guess here that the goal differential is actually a predictive stat, indicating that the Ducks are even close to being as good a team as their record suggests.
Also, credit to the Jets, they showed a lot of resiliency during the final stretch. They're a team on a mission much the same way that we are. Jets and Flames in the conference finals?

Jets in 7. Ducks are overrated imo. They just don't seem that dominant to me when i've watched them.

Nope, not possible. If the Flames advance, they get the winner of this series. There is no re-seeding as in past years. It's a set bracket like March Madness, or like things used to be.
That said, I'm predicting and hoping the Ducks mop the floor with those guys. Hated the first incarnation of the Jets and somehow the hate has lived on to this one.

I hope the Jets can take out the Ducks. Plus, Winnipeg deserves a series win.
Jets in 7.
