I don't mind the chant. A lot of the fans in that building might not be able to get to any playoff games. Let them be excited.
I liked the young Flames fan they showed chanting "boo Jets boo" though.

No one's saying they should sit on their hands. The building is rocking and atmosphere is great but to chant we want the cup before a playoff game is even played is....premature.

You know, when people talk about which Canadian team you like the least, the Jets are the top of the charts for me. I can't stand anything Winnipeg, but the Jets, and Jets fans, are the worst. Biggest bunch of bandwagoners there are. Smug SOBs too. The smallest of small market teams that will be the first team to disappear, again, because they don't have the building to sustain a winner. Their whiteout crap is a ripoff of the Flames fans wearing red during the '86 playoffs. Can't stand posers, and Winnipeg is a bunch of posers.

I noticed Hartley rested Backlund, Engelland and others already. He's been playing the youngsters like Ramage-Kulak, Wotherspoon, Bennett lots of ice time. That's great since it is more like a nothing game anyways.
