I don't think Diaz and Shlemko have earned anything for next season. I think the Flames will re-tool the defense a bit. Those two could certainly get a chance but I'd be willing to bet that one or possibly both are not with the team come start of next season. Don't get me wrong they've been serviceable in the wake of injuries but they are 6-7 dmen and could be replaced with the one of the young guys.

Colby is best when he puts his head down and just blows by the defender and goes hard to the net, either across the crease or for the wraparound.
With his size and determination with the puck, thats a tough play to defend against.
