Loads of hitting going on. Didn't really expect that since not much is at stake.

I guess Backlund's play of late isn't because of an injury.

Makes perfect sense. I doubt one game would whole lot of difference. Without Johnny there likely wouldn't be any playoff this season.

Another reason why a team's 5v5 corsi stats do not tell the whole story

I agree, I've been a huge Ferland fan for a few years now thinking he could be that top 6 power forward we need.
He could be monstrous in the playoffs!

Is Gaudreau considered "day-to-day"? That's likely who he's thinking of.

Too late.
I think they have done a fabulous job this year after a bit of a stumble to start...which should have been expected with such a gigantic change to anything they had done before.
SN has been great.

I keep hearing that Burke made a rule that his NHLers can't have a number higher than 35 due to some traditional BS he had going on.
Yet Jooris wore 86 all year so what up with that? What did Burke actually say, is there a link to the story?

Heh imagine telling someone at the beginning of the season that in the last game the Flames would be resting Gaudreau for the playoffs even though he was tied for the lead in rookie scoring. Can't even...
