April 11th - That's all, folks!
Ottawa @ Philadelphia - Ottawa can clinch a playoff berth with a point in Philadelphia. They can finish as high as 3rd in the Atlantic and as low as out of the playoffs. Andrew Hammond is 19-1-2 with a .939 Sv% and 1.82 GAA. No team wants to play the Senators in the playoffs.
NY Rangers @ Washington - Washington is trying to grab home ice advantage in the first round against the Islanders. New York has locked up 1st place and will play Ottawa, Pittsburgh, or Boston in round 1.
San Jose @ Los Angeles - Meaningless game.
Minnesota @ St. Louis - Minnesota can pass Chicago with a win and a Chicago loss in Colorado this evening. If that happens, Minnesota will start round 1 in Nashville. If not, Minnesota will either play St. Louis or Anaheim.
Pittsburgh @ Buffalo - Pittsburgh can clinch with a win, or miss with a regulation loss and a Boston win. If they make it, they will start round 1 in Madison Square Garden, Montreal, or Tampa Bay.
Montreal @ Toronto - Montreal can clinch the division with a point.
New Jersey @ Florida - Meaningless.
Columbus @ NY Islanders - The Islanders can take home ice with a win and a Washington regulation loss.
Detroit @ Carolina - Detroit is in, and can keep 3rd in the Atlantic with a point.
Boston @ Tampa Bay - Boston needs a win and help to make the playoffs. Tampa needs a win and a Montreal loss to win the Atlantic.
Nashville @ Dallas - Nashville will start round 1 at home against either Chicago or Minnesota.
Chicago @ Colorado - Chicago looks to stay in 3rd in the division, and Iginla needs a hat trick for 30.
Anaheim @ Arizona - Anaheim will start round 1 at home against Winnipeg, Minnesota, or Chicago.
Edmonton @ Vancouver - Depending what happens in the Flames game, this could be Vancouver fighting for home ice.

Go Rangers! It's good for the Islanders, and for the Flames 2nd round pick (hey, every little bit helps).

Lots of Pens fans yesterday and Carolina/anything-that-keeps-the-Sens-away-from-the-Habs here in Montreal.
Nobody wants the Sens in the 1st round.

In Vancouver and the Sens game is under a blackout? Is this because TSN does't have the right to broadcast it nationally? Seems idiotic this game isn't somehow shown to the rest of Canada.

Seguin gets healthy scratched for being late to yesterday's practice.
He could cost Benn his chance at the Art Ross, who is one point behind Tavares and Crosby

Bruins and Pens should be pleased; Flyers are playing well vs the Sens. Shots are 23 to 6 half way through the 2nd

I don't mind seeing Boston gets eliminated as I want another Canadian team to get in and Pittsburgh so the Oilers doesn't get another chance on the lottery pick. I know the odds on winning the lottery on Pittsburgh's pick(Perron trade) is so low but you never know.
Awesome that 3 teams are fighting for 2 playoff spots in the East and Vancouver & Calgary are fighting for home-ice advantage on the last day of the regular season.

I'm watching the Capitals feed and the PBP guys were talking about Jack Adams candidates. One of them said Hartley would most certainly have his vote if he had a vote. Then they both went on to talk about how the Saddledome has an amazing atmosphere, and they even starting talking about the Red Mile and how they are excited to see it again. Talking about how amazing it is and such.
...All the way in DC!
They've probably seen Flames Girls haha
