I can honestly say I am impressed with every single player that played tonight.

Potter- Didn't notice him tonight...which means he never screwed up...which is fantastic!
Bollig- Threw his body around and was hella physical
Ferland- THIS KID PLAYED GREAT
Engelland with 25 minutes what the hell???

OMG I love this team!!!! I might stop crying around 1 am where I'll probably be in bed sobbing while watching the highlights of the game.

GO FLAMES GO!!!!!

Damnit, of course the Canucks decide to sell tickets tomorrow at 10 which is the exact same time I have a meeting at work.

For someone who has been preparing against Gaudreau since his hatty, doughty dropped the ball yet again. Go flames!!

I plan to spend the next 12 hours or so re-watching the 30 minute Sportsnet highlights...Don't know about the rest of you.

I can now read all of the threads that mentioned playoffs, especially the Aaron Ward thread.

I can now walk to and from my car to the office without caring if I step on cracks while saying "Go Flames Go" with alternating steps.

I can now say the "P" word out loud!

Thought that was Brodie's best game of the season. Certainly his best without Giordano.

I have to say a player like Ferland could be a huge difference maker in a playoff series.

Almost teared up a couple times.

This team has defied the critics, the odds and a boatload of injuries. I'm extremely proud to be a Flames fan.

Damn was that fun, just crazy. Even crazier to think we are IN THE PLAYOFFS!

Outside of the usual suspects I thought Ferland, Engelland, Schlemko, Jones, Stajan, Bolling, Jooris, and Granlund were great! Did exactly what was asked of them. So proud, so happy. Actually, huge props to Engelland, that man will drink for free anytime I am near.

Can't wait for the influx of Flames fan to Vancouver! If you make the trip out here for a game hit me up!!!

Someone on "that other board" said the Flames haven't taken a penalty in 3 straight games? Is this true?
I do think one of the things that allowed them to win this year was their discipline.

I still have goosebumps right now... Just so proud of this team! Pure heart and dedication, these guys are what a team should be.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think we were done and buried once our captain and best player went down for the season, but as usual these guys continued to prove the doubters wrong!

Congratulations 2015 Calgary Flames, you have made every fan and Calgarian proud!

Onto the next chapter now, keep this run going, you guys deserve every success that comes your way and I have zero doubt in my mind you guys can keep this going!

The telecast noted the last penalty was Bollig hitting the St. Louis player from behind. April 2.

I had to ask what this water was coming out of my eyes when Hudler potted that empty netter. Apparently they're called "Tears of joy". I have to go to work now and I am still buzzing.

Absolutely true my friend. Extremely disciplined play tonight and all season quite frankly.

Wow. Just. Wow. Still kinda stunned and speechless. I think I totally scared the dog when Hudler scored the ENG. He's still hiding from me....

It's been a long wait, and a lot of faith - and I don't mind admitting that at the start of the year I didn't think it was going to be much of a season. But game by game, hit by hit, play by play the Flames made me believe. After the 0-3 > 4-3 win I went all in emotionally. I've been a wreck ever since.

At least I get a few days' reprieve now....while the boys prepare to whip those Canuck butts!
