I'm guessing this game cemented JG's Calder and Hartley's Adams trophies........both well deserved.
I was watching the game with my elderly mother who is an avid Flames fan. Hudler gets the empty netter and the popcorn bowl and all the popcorn went flying! Never been so happy to clean up a mess!

Who would have thought that Jiri Hudler would be a PPG (nearly) player for this team. He has 60 even strength points to lead the league!

So are Saturdays games completely meaningless or can we still gain home ice advantage?

Darryl says he is an Alberta boy and is rooting for the Flames.
Sounded down - even for him.

During the FAN960 post-game show, Gelinas hinted that we will most likely see Bennett on Saturday.

Canucks are up 4 zip, so Saturday will be meaningless standings-wise.

I punched my living room chandelier on the empty net goal. I am just so amazingly proud of this team and the adversity they have overcome. Just.. speechless.
Unbelievable. Go tear the playoffs a new one boys!

On the radio they said tonight's win doesn't clinch home ice for Vancouver. If the Flames beat Winnipeg and Vancouver loses in regulation in their next game, the Flames have home ice.

I thought if the Flames beat the Jets, they would win the tiebreaker.

I have been wrong often, but rarely wrong to the magnitude that I was about Hudler.

No, if we win against Winnipeg and Vancouver loses their last game, we get home ice based on ROW.

What a game!!! It feels so good to be back in the playoffs.
Can I request someone post the Gaudreau Healy gif? Thought he had an amazing game and I always love seeing that one.
