I haven't washed my Monahan jersey all year, and I've gone full playoff beard.
My stomach hates me. I'm not sure if it's because of the Beer or the nerves, or maybe a little of both.

Are superstitions silly and sometimes dumb? Yes of course they are, but at the same time they are fun and kind of make you feel a part of the team. I am a little superstitious in that I will only put one of my jerseys on just before game time, but this year I have rarely worn one for a game so I won't buck the trend tonight.

Nervous wreck, voted can't watch but not really true.. I will just watch an hour behind with knowledge of opponents score at that time (see other thread)

I might try this one day. Seems kinda interesting to do, only knowing the opponents score haha

Nervous and excited, but as soon as I can throw an elbow or a good hit, I'll be fine.
As for superstitions, I am not at all superstitious, and am fully cognizant of the fact that my behaviors have no impact on the game. So I don't do things like wear red underwear, or walk the same way to work.
Having said that, I am also careful not to tempt fate. I am not going to rub it in the hockey gods' faces by saying things like shutout, or talking about the playoffs before we're in.
It comes down to risk reward: I sincerely doubt my actions have any relevance, but I am still going to be respectful, just in case.

Jittery and it will get worse until game time. I refrained from wearing jersey or doing anything special as I don't want to be "stuck" in my superstitious ways quite yet.
However if we lose than the Jersey goes on Saturday.
I really forgot just how stressful meaningful Flames games can be.
Haven't felt this way since Poland played in Euro 2012. Hopefully they pull it off better than those stupid polaks.

I used to be a lot more superstitious about the Flames and would also get nervous before big games, but I'm not this year for some reason. I still watch all the games and follow them as close as I ever have though. Maybe it's the age .
Playoffs though, if they make it in? Pretty sure I'll get jittery especially if they play the dirty Canucks.

I just got back into town from BC - had originally hoped to find tix to the home closer, but that's a faint hope now. :-(
On the other hand, I'm wearing my 2004-run team-signed jersey hoping to channel the pluckiness and grittiness of that team to add to the current version, as well as "old Darryl" against "now Darryl". Hope it works!

I love it, you have to embrace these situations they don't come around too often. Just like a game 7.

Where do you buy this stuff in Calgary? Curious how this stacks up to Everclear which I also enjoy on occasion.

I'm all good right now. So hyped that the Flames have a chance to get back into the playoffs. This is coming much, much sooner than expected. I just wanted a treat, I'm getting an all inclusive buffet.
Just win, baby!

If there is an option for "Let's just get it done and over with" I'll choose that.
Thus I picked "Who's playing tonight?"

Caesars and Bourbon. If we win, more Caesars and Bourbon. If we lose, more Caesars and Bourbon. Also, I never read the PGT if we lose but do read it, and opponent's boards, watch all the highlights and checkout Flames PG vids after each win.

I don't believe in superstition, but I'll partake in game day rituals, just because it is fun to do so. Super excited for tonight's game, a little nervous. I had no playoff expectations, but now that it is so close... I'm all in.

I have been jittery all day. I have literally put aside what I am going to wear tonight to watch the game. I don't think I have planned an outfit in the last five years.

Polish stores I believe.
I've never actually bought any though. My parents and family always have a healthy stock pile.
