The hockey gods literally did everything they could have done to have LA lose that game. There is absolutely no way they shouldn't have scored 29 times in the last 5 minutes.
I've seen midget teams play better than these Oilers. And I don't mean midget division teams. I mean teams made up of actual midgets.

We can lose our last two as long as SJ beats LA, right?

This is like a proud "older brother" moment for Calgary and Vancouver.
Thank you Edmonton, you did good.

In order for Flames to miss now we have to lose out and Kings have to win out.
Flames can make playoffs even if they lose out if the Kings lose to the Sharks.

If the flames and jets each get a loser point in their next game going to overtime will clinch a spot for both teams and eliminate the kings.

Yup reminds me. 2 years back where Minny won the last game off the year and tied with CBJ. Minny got in on more rows.

Calgary still has home ice in reach... should be a good last few games. I don't think home ice would be much of a factor though.
You guys still get to cheer for the Oilers when they play the Canucks, the game might mean something for you.

One more win Flames.
I would love for it to be the Flames to put the final nail in the coffin on thursday to show they deserve to be in the playoffs and not LA.

Stop all this talk about Calgary being able to lose out. We're beating LA on Thursday dammit and doing this ourselves.

Uggh, how does Sportsnet not know how teams can clinch. It's literally their job. Flames don't need a regulation win anymore to make the playoffs.
