That thrashing LA gave Edmonton last game could have been the best thing to happen to the Flames season right now.
I got the entertainment of the Oilers getting thrashed AND the potential for the Oilers to help us in the playoffs. Who knew?

The Kings cannot pass the flames in row wins if they do end up tied. It gives the flames some margin for error.
