See for me the flaw in the NHL system isn't tge fact that the loser point exists, it's when teams have a high % of their wins in gimmicky 4on4 OT or shoot out. A team that gets more of than it's share of the coin toss that is the NHLs tie braking system is the team that is getting more than they deserve IMO.

I actually don't know, but I'm guessing a higher % of our wins have come in OT or shoot out than either the Jets or Kings.

Geez. Spend the whole night checking scores on tsn mobile and swearing at my phone. Check out the OOT thread and Vancouver ties it.

C'mon Divers!

Time to pull out all the stops, and resurrect this beauty.

An LA win in OT is clearly the worst case, but surely a Van win in OT is better than an LA win in regulation? Especially when you factor in Vans schedule to close out the year.

If VAN wins in OT, the Flames and Kings each have 93 points.

Both play easy opponents tomorrow, bringing them to 95 points each.

Then they play each other...

And Calgary has tie breaker so if CGY were to win Thursday, LA couldn't catch them on final day and CGY would be clinched.

giving the Flames a shot at the clinch at home on thursday...assuming the other games go as expected

Oilers have another shot at their "stanley cup" tomorrow?

I pray for this! We can beat them again. They aren't unbeatable right now.

It would have to be a win in regulation though.
