If the Jets dont lose to the Blues tomorrow.....our season is over.

Because I really doubt that Jets are going to lose to the Avs.

Pray for a Jets loss to the Blues and Kings maybe messing up vs the Oilers.

Maybe we can magically find a way to beat the Kings.....sigh.

Go LA! Bury these losers.

???? Really???? As much as I hate Vancouver, there is no way I'm cheering LA on this late in the race.

I prefer to think of this scenario, Kings lose one of their next two in regulation, Flames beat Arizona and then beat the Kings 3-2 in regulation at home to clinch. Last time the Flames beat the Kings 3-2 at home to clinch I had a good spring.

Holy crap the desolation in here is unbearable.

We beat the Kings three times this year.

Get it together people! This thing is going right down to the wire!

Yeesh, there are a lot of Debbie Downers in here. I'm going to bed, the outcome of the LA/Vancouver game doesn't decide our fate.

Flames out?
This will be a lot clearer tomorrow for you.

If the Flames win and the Jets lose in regulation, it is going to come down to the final game one way or another, regardless of if we lose to LA or not. If we pick up a single against LA, they will at minimum have to win in regulation in that scenario. If WPG loses their next 2 and we get a single against LA and beat AZ. We clinch no matter what. As we would have the tie breaker.

Don't worry I already did the work for you, just like everyone else did with your standings question.

The way this is looking, if Van scores, this is going to OT, that is the absolute worst case scenario.

I'm cutting my losses and hoping only 2 points go out tonight.

Who cares if Vancouver gets a point. I hate them but they are not losing to Edmonton and Arizona to end the season.

This OOT sucks. Flames just need to win out the rest of the season, and it won't matter what this or future OOTs result in.

Even an OT loss for the Kings will help.

I can't remember a season where the OOT scoreboard has been as excruciating as this.

Nah. An OT loss still has the Flames in a playoff spot, and even in games with the Kings.
