Powerplay Quarterback
The thread title made me burst out laughing. It may be because I'm tired and it's not that funny... but it did, none the less.
After the first 20 minutes, i was a bit worried. The Flames looked like the Flames of old who used to play down to their opponents. But whatever was said in the dressing room in the intermission made a difference. Completely dominated the Oilers in the second and third. Hall and Eberle completely disappeared and were non-factors as they could no longer dipsy-doodle across the offensive blue line.

Reading Oilers HF forum game thread was so much fun... Almost each and every post would be worthy of quoting here...

Nice to see spme scoring from other players besides our top line. The right game to gain some confidence.

Congrats Hiller on the shutout! Really hope Ramo's injury isn't too serious and he'll be ready to play again for the post season.
Rough start but picked it up as the game wore on and finished the job. Maybe we'll see Bennett get some action against the Coyotes.
Job well done boys!

Great road win in a must win situation.
Props to Hiller for delivering a shutout coming off the bench.
Flames tie a franchise record with 22 road wins.
Wideman sets career high in points and continues with strong leadership.
Grannies has best game of year with the Flames.
And we still have Bennett to add to the mix.
Need two wins in next three games. GFG!!!

That’s a shared shutout. Ramo with no saves in 58 seconds. Hiller with 27 saves.
How to get shut out:
Don't play Jonas in first 58 second.

It's too bad Bennett didn't get to play cause it would have been just like playing an OHL team.

Watching Hall/Eberle play... man these guys are really dumb players. What a terrible team.

Quoth the Ramo, "Never score... against Hiller".
Nice win to finish 3-2 on the road trip. First line looked deadly -- too bad they couldn't convert one.
Lets keep it rolling -- three games left!

Scrivens lets a bad one in when its out of reach. So the Oilers are bad because goaltending, right?
Stajans line really picked it up in the third. Too bad they were the only line left off the sheet (considering the top line was all out for the power play goal).
