The only thing that went right was a bouncing goal and we are up 1-0 after the first.
Otherwise just crap play especially the D with their breakout passes and carrying the puck out of the zone.

Played a bad period but the shots were still only 11-8 Oilers. If that is the best the Oilers can play I think the ice will tilt once the Flames wake up.

Worst period of hockey I've seen from the Flames all season...and yet we're winning. It's the Oilers, so I'm not surprised. But holy crap, the boys need to wake up and realize they're in a playoff race. Move your f'n feet and get on the damn forecheck, and the Oilers will pack up and go home. I hope Hartley rips them a new one during the intermission.

I agree Hiller's made some big saves. But the Oilers have been all dangle, no finish. I wouldn't say lots of those chances were from the slot. Many from weak angles.
Calgary played better in the last 5. Thought Colborne was good, and Jooris as well. The top line has had slow starts lately. I think Johnny and Monnie will figure something out though.
