Well.... Hiller has been a number one goalie before - maybe the pressure being off will help him play a bit more consistent?

I was just thinking... in baseball of all sports, a pitcher gets a chance to warm up a bit if he's taking the mound mid game or whenever.

In hockey, the goalie doesn't even get a chance to stretch. Maybe hockey should be more like baseball.

Nahhh.

This few minutes is the pressure the Oilers will give tonight. They won't keep this up for 60 minutes. Go Flames Go! And the emergency goalie is Jordan Sigalet.

Nice chance for Granlund and Ferland. Played with some energy and something good almost happens. There's a clue in there somewhere, Flames.

If we can notch one more quickly, the Oilers should fold

Used to happen, but coaches started using it as a way to get a free timeout late in a game. Bob Johnson used to do it all the time when he was coaching the Flames.

They did still allow it if your goalie went down with an injury, but even that doesn't happen any more.

So can the Flames sign a Free Agent at this point if Ramo was out for a while and we wanted a decent backup in the playoffs?

As terrible as the Flames have been, Scrivens has looked much worse somehow.
