Default April 3, just five games.

There are no sexy games on the Good Friday OOT, but,
there is a Rogers doubleheader on different channels.
This is the calm before the storm tomorrow.

Thanks for starting it, I was too bummed from yesterday's kings win. I'll be back tomorrow to give it one last superstitious try for the big push.

What a crazy second period in the Blues-Stars game! The Blues scored twice in 32 seconds in the first minute of the second period to take a 3-1 lead. Then six seconds later, Benn scores to make it 3-2. It is now 5-3 Stars. Check the scoring summary, it is from NHL.com.

1ST PERIOD
17:49 STL Patrik Berglund (11) Tip-in - ASST: Zbynek Michalek (8), David Backes (31) 1 - 0 STL

19:49 DAL Penalty Shot - Travis Moen (2) Wrist shot - ASST: NONE 1 - 1 Tie

2ND PERIOD
00:15 STL Patrik Berglund (12) Wrist shot - ASST: Kevin Shattenkirk (33), Dmitrij Jaskin (5) 2 - 1 STL

00:32 STL Jaden Schwartz (26) Backhand shot - ASST: T.J. Oshie (35), Jay Bouwmeester (10) 3 - 1 STL

00:38 DAL Jamie Benn (29) Wrist shot - ASST: Tyler Seguin (36) 3 - 2 STL

10:01 DAL Tyler Seguin (36) Wrist shot - ASST: Jamie Benn (47) 3 - 3 Tie

14:40 DAL Jamie Benn (30) Deflected shot - ASST: Tyler Seguin (37), Valeri Nichushkin (1) 4 - 3 DAL

15:22 DAL Antoine Roussel (13) Wrap-around - ASST: Ryan Garbutt (16), Cody Eakin (20) 5 - 3 DAL

The Devils tie the game up in the second period and beat the Habs 3-2 in the shootout.

The Blackhawks hang on for the 4-3 win.

St Louis just went up 6-5

Oh and Lehtonen got yarded after giving up 6 goals on 19 shots.

Schwartz establishing stud status. 2010 draft looks pretty good(reau) at this point.

I'm not sure how the rest of you feel, but it's nice to have a breather when it comes to an OOT. BP goes back to 400/150 tomorrow, though.

Sharks with 87 points and 4 games left which are all winnable. Could finish with 95 points but probably not enough

The Avalanche surprise the Ducks 4-2, it was a good one to watch. Berra was sensational in net facing 37 shots. It is a big loss for the Ducks as they are only four points up on the Blues and Predators in the race for first place in the western conference. Those teams have two games in hand on Anaheim.

The Sharks hang on and beat the Coyotes 3-1. The Coyotes rookie goalie, Louie Domingue, also faced 37 shots.

Shoot out the lights in Dallas, that game was insane. "An NHL-record four goals in 49 seconds made up only part of the story in a wild contest between the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars." Nobody had any control of anything,'' Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said. ''We were under siege. They were under siege. The goal at the end of the second was a big one, really gave us life." http://www.cbc.ca/sports-content/hockey/nhl/game/1443557/recap/

The Bhawks win was crazy as they were lucky to beat the Sabres. The Habs are in a minor slump as they get a point with Tokarski in net and lose in the SO to the Devils. The Sharks and Avs both win to keep their very slim playoff hopes alive. The Ducks lose and can't increase their conf and overall lead. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/nhl-3-stories-for-friday-night-1.3021153

It does feel good to relax with the OOT. Some nights were really tough to watch and read so when a bulk of the teams didn't play or not many games were on, it helped relax the nerves. The good thing FBI is that Sun. Wed. and Fri. will be days to relax as no western teams of importance play.
