I feel weird about being so excited about an 18 year old guy.

Kijiji and StubHub seem to think the Oilers are a playoff team based on pricing (more than flames games) and I am wondering with their poor performance, if tickets might be had at the box office just before the game or if they have their version of the C train scalpers?
I picked some up yesterday from Stubhub, a little more pricey but screw kijiji for Oiler tickets... I had 2 guys try to scam me yesterday ... must be the whole Edmonton sweatpant vibe of trying to rip people off

Not sure if they'll release more tomorrow, but as of right now it's all singles on ticket master, except for 3 seats together in the lower bowl corner at $294 a ticket before ticket master adds another $300 or whatever they're adding on these days.

Because they deal in CAD as opposed to USD, it pains me to say that I actually prefer Ticketmaster's resale site to Stubhub lately.

I saw him in the slot last night waiting for a pass, could be he needs more of a play maker on his line!

I still think you put him in Granlund's spot as the 3rd C. Actually I would put him in between Colborne and Raymond and see if he can't breathe some life into those two, we are going to need them to show up if we are going to make the dance.

If Jooris can go

Gaudreau/Monahan/Hudler
Bouma/Backlund/Jones
Raymond/Bennett/Colborne
Jooris/Stajan/Shore

If I were going with those 12, I would switch Bennett and Stajan:

Raymond/Stajan/Colborne
Jooris/Bennett/Shore

use Stajan's line defensively, and Bennett's line with protected minutes and zone starts

On one side, putting Bennett with those 2 ice-cold players could re-ignite them. But on the other hand, he might do absolutely nothing with them and his talents could be wasted.

Really undecided on that.

True, but I think he would spark them. How could they not get excited and push hard for Bennett?

I would rather see Bennett with guys like Jooris and Shore - that would be a track meet

Allegedly one of the coaches said he was the third best player in the practices before he got sent down to Kingston. If theres any truth to that this is huge.

We could use his skill/scoring right now. I hope he doesn't get sheltered too much. Hartley may lean on getting him focused on "playing the right way" but still use him in key situations.

Why are we messing with the greatest 4th line we have seen all year.

Shore - Stajan - Ferland

Why arent we messing with the once productive line that has gone ice cold.

Bouma - Backlund - Jones

The middle 6 need to be tinkered with and I would love to see a 2nd line of
Raymond - Bennet - Backlund (perhaps Bennett on the wing as the C has more responsibility and Bennett could learn from a very smart C)

Third line would be Bouma - Colborne - Jones
