Junior players are not subject to call ups UNLESS its an emergency...meaning adding Bennett was nothing more than an add on to the roster.
This was an assignment as his season had ended in Kingston.

Nice! Not a requirement to play every game but given the useless second line, especially on the PP, nice to insert some intensity from a kid who is likely to be ultramotivated.

Looks like it was a contentious issue with management;

I was told even after noon a decision hadn’t yet been made on Bennett. That’s how much of a debate was going on.

Connie and Pascal are running the baby Flames, I bet they were the ones who really wanted Bennett in the AHL. They can't be happy that they are going to miss the playoffs.

Considering how some of our original roster players aren't playing as well as they should, Bennett should definitely be getting a crack at the lineup either tomorrow or Monday.
