I'll agree that he hasnt played as well as he can the past 5 games, but before he blew a tire there, he was probably the best forward in this game in the first period. blocked shots and created an entire offensive surge brought on by the 4th line by battling Jackman off the puck

There's absolutely no way Bennett can be worse than Raymond. Bring him up.

There are a dozen NHLers with 30 goals so far this season. #Flames C Sean Monahan is the only one under 23. He's 20.
EDIT: This was a tweet from a Flames beat writer. Wes Gilbertson.

So stoked for Monahan. Sweet that the camera caught Johhny pick up the puck.

Congrats to moneyhands, kudos to JH for picking up that puck so quick.
Now if only the team would skate a bit here they are standing around watching too much

Just curious. I really don't know the answer, so I need as many posters as possible to answers the question, preferably in a large bold font as I lost my glasses.

I believe the answer you're looking for is...
ZER !
(If he could have played a full season his first two years, he likely would have hit 30, but he couldn't)

That's understandable. That's a better way to put it. I think he's definetly not helping himself right now, but I think after last season, and the earlier part of this season we should still be giving him a shot. I've also noticed Hartley relies on him greatly in order to shutdown the opposition's top line quite often, so that might be wearing on him?
But yes, he needs to pull it together, or Bennett is going to kick him out at this rate.

Gaudreau has passed it away a few times tonight. Or the Blues are anticipating well. Or both.

I cringe every time the Blues get the puck down low. Flames are just getting destroyed in their own zone. And did they just say the shots are 28-8? Yikes.
