Show me once where I have suggested they are deliberately THROWING the game. As I have said repeatedly, these are very smart men, and to suggest the benefit of Calgary in vs. LA in hasn't crossed their minds at all seems very naive to me.
Resting players and having a potential influence on the standings are not two different things when you consider the pros and cons of the timing of when you do it.

Wrong, but clearly you are now being intentionally obtuse, so we are done.
Mitigating the risks associated with resting roster members is not THROWING games. You and I both know that.

As we have already established, mitigating risks is not throwing games.
However, you said 'having a potential influence on the standings'

And?
I am still not clear where I have accused anyone of throwing games. If I have the luxury of getting key guys some rest, I am going to try and do it at a time when it is the least detrimental to my teams success.
This circle is getting tiring. Let's move on.

Of course they aren't throwing the game. How dare you suggest such a thing!!!
No team has ever thrown a game in the history of sport.
(Well, except in a few hundred well documented cases including Olympics (and yes, Olympic hockey), World Cup, European Cup, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Serie B, World Series, NFL Playoff berths, NBA playoff berths, CFL playoff berths, US College basketball, Cricket World Cup, Indian Premier Cricket League, NASCAR and Sumo wrestling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Match_fixing)

I think this is the more likely answer than any idea of trying to lose to hurt the Kings.
Right now, the Blues are a point up on Chicago, and play the Hawks twice before the end of the season. You have to think that they'd rather play Chicago with home ice advantage than let Chicago have it.
The Flames are a team they've outscored 8-1 in two games this season. If they're resting guys, it's because they think they can afford to do it for this game.

Sportsnet showing Jake having a better record in March than Elliott. So might not even be anything there.
