Perhaps even a coupon to Target for a discount on sweatpants?

On this, the eve of weekend long, the great Zoltan has completed his calculus exam.

Zoltan is ready to begin prophesizing on this most hallowed of OOT's:

1) LA will triumphantly smash the oilers, wagers in LA's favour will be most profitable.
2) Eddie Lack will post a save percentage, and destroy every pre conceived notion of advanced statistics.

3) Justin Schultz will discover the ability to skate backwards.

4) Pylon Will purchase pepto bismol

The word of Zoltan.

Everyone knows that Frederick L'Ecuyer, Tom Kowal, Shane Heyer and Kiel Murchison are Oilers fans.

Oilers versus Kings last seven games dating back to last year.

1-5-0-1 with their only win coming in a shootout this year

They have been outscored 24-8 in that span. God speed.

Edit: And outscored 32-11 since 2012-2013

I have ultimate faith in Pylon's inflamed, disease ridden intestines can overcome all of this.

Move over Carey Price, there's a new God in town and its Jonathan Quick. Quick's going to get a shutout tonight.

And the Oilers just crapped the bed last night against the Ducks.

This is going to be an epic ass kicking.

There is no way the Oilers don't just roll over and lube up for the Kings. It's going to be a massacre unseen since the days of the NKVD.

Sportsnet Stats ‏@SNstats 2m2 minutes ago Did You Know? The Kings, Red Wings and Coyotes are a combined 34-0-7 against the #Oilers since November 4, 2011
that's so brutal, it's going in the "ENG" thread.

Come on Oilers, a win means a whole summer of pointing to "that game" where you finally fulfilled MacT's watered down lower expectation of competing and beating an "elite" team in the NHL.

- It helps the Flames
- It helps you all secure another 6x6 where you can coast along lazily and indifferent to losing
- It dilutes the Oiler fan base into thinking the corner has been turned
- but most important it saves Oiler management for another season

Lots of pros there Oil, get er' done.

Won't happen. No way the pile of garbage up north beats a desperate Kings team.
And their fans are so fond of cheering for losing they are probably hoping for it just to screw up the Flames, just to give a little meaning to their pathetic hockey watching existence.

It will be the most lopsided win since Germany-Poland 1939.

Quick, in addition to his 0-shots against shutout, will score 10 goals. On behalf of Safeway, 2 Los Angelenos will win $1 million each. Their names will be Jonathan Quick and Mrs. Jonathan Quick.

A large bowl of Wendys chili and a spicy Chicken sandwich is the best I could muster for lunch today. Just not feeling the lower intestinal burn.

Gonna ramp it up for dinner. Gonna make a call to Saffron East Indian takeout, go off the menu and ask for 'authentic' preparation of chickpea daal, tandoori chicken, and beef vindaloo.

They're definitely due, then. It's the law of averages.
