I had a tidbit for this, but you told me to shut up, so I can't help you there.

Yah, bike lanes should be a big priority for a facility that is gong to get 80% of it's use in the middle of a Calgary winter, for the 3 people who still refuse to accept where we live and drive their bicycles in the winter when going to hockey games.

Just to clarify, 'West Village' is considered the area where Greyhound is/was? Or is it closer downtown, IE, the edges of those high priced condos, where the old science center used to be, etc.
I guess the old science center is really just beyond where Greyhound is anyway...

The Greyhound depot needs to be burnt to the ground and the earth where it stood salted.
Well, given the amount of Diesel thats likely in the ground there they can probably skip the 'salting earth' part.

I ride my bike to games fairly frequently, I just have to leave my bike and gear at my friend's place a couple blocks from the dome as there isn't really anywhere good to leave your bike there.
Oh, and you are a horrible poster, in case you forgot that part since last time everyone pointed it out.

Just the area west of 14th Street between Bow Trail and the River, up to but not including the Pumphouse Theatre (so, the Mercedes dealership, Greyhound, GSL, and Renfrew Chrysler).
I believe both the Planetarium and Mewata Armoury are protected as historic buildings.

The rare quad.....
Have the tweets been posted in here somewhere? I'm just lazy and looking for an easy way to find them without going through his whole history.

Not arguing the point, but that's the 'West Village'? If not, where IS the West Village? One the west side of Prince's Island?

Nothing yet...but they want to develop it into something like the East Village, hence the name.
Some people on twitter aren't too happy with the idea of the arena/stadium/fieldhouse combo taking up that development space though.
