Hello from the #Flames skate at Scottrade Center in STL! Colborne, Granlund, & Ferland all wearing blue jerseys. Could indicate scratches?
Wes Gilbertson @SUNGilbertson
No sign of #Flames RW Paul Byron at practice in St. Louis. After returning from 17-game absence in Minny, has missed past two games.
As reported earlier, the Steen and Tarasenko are game time decisions for the Blues. Jake Allen is the confirmed starter. Blues have called up Ty Rattie, who might suit up against the Flames

Honestly wouldn't mind seeing Colborne ride the pine for a bit here. Need more from him.
Whenever I notice him, which is fairly often, he is doing things I like. But Hartley often reduces his time, which means he's seeing something wrong.
IMO he has good skill to go with his size, and when he gets it together on a shift, he can play a lot like Thornton. He doesn't play a speed game like the rest of the team though.

Colborne is due for a scratch, but man, what does it take for Bollig to sit in the press box? Ferland has looked a lot more useful on the 4th line. Generally I love Treliving's roster moves but Bollig for 2 more years was a bad one . Even Engellend's contract looks better, given his recent play.

Bollig's been scratched for the last few games.

Not sure if you've been watching the games lately. Brandon Bollig been a healthy scratch the last two games. Besides he's been playing well the last few games he's been in the lineup.
I dunno - a 20 goal/ 33 point pace (which ain't bad for a 3rd liner getting about 12m per game)? Way more offence than Byron, Colborne, Stajan, Granlund or Bollig?
I think Hartley knows what Raymond brings and what he doesn't and uses him accordingly. He's been much less of a liability on the ice than when he returned, and way more consistent with the puck.
