Oh I'm not really worried about Sven, I just think it's inevitable that something like that will happen, and it might as well happen this season.

And yeah, Vrbata has been amazing for the Canucks this year. He's their Hudler right now.

That might be the case against any other team, but losing to the Canucks always sucks. It wouldn't be the end of the world by any means, but there are some things that just never sit well with you, no matter what the situation. Especially since the winner is guaranteed to go to the Finals.

The Canucks are horrible, they're the biggest sham in the league. The Flames will sweep them and Vancouver will burn their city down as per usual.

Honestly a Canucks / Flames series is a coin toss that comes down to special teams and goaltending most likely. I have no clue what Vancouver will do if they get Miller back in time for game 1.

I'm not surprised... Elliott was god awful last game, basically handed the Canucks 2 free points.

Canucks will fold like a cheap suit as per usual come playoff time. Fans will revolt, demanding heads role. Miller will demand to be traded but will have no suitors so Lack will be traded instead. Miller will then be traded to a sunbelt team for peanuts. Vancouver signs overpriced veteran goalie in off season, Vancouver fans rejoice and brag about the amount of young talent they have. Rinse and repeat.

I second this question.

The only thing I know about Allen offhand is that when I buy bookcases from IKEA, I have to put them together using his key.

Generally speaking, Allen or Elliott is basically a coin toss; behind the Blues defense they're both good but not great goalies who can either show up and play well and hold you to a goal or two, or turn in a stinker. The starting goalie isn't usually a huge difference for STL. But Allen's been pretty weak this year, so I guess if you had to choose, you'd want to play him.

With the Flames well rested, and with the Blues having Allen in net and Tarasenko and Steen sitting out - this game is winnable by the Flames.

No need to rush them back! “@StLouisBlues: Hitchcock said Tarasenko has lower-body injury, is day-to-day. Same for Steen” #Flames #CGYvsSTL

Who knows what happens in the playoffs, but "should beat calgary in 5"?

Calgary is 2-1-1 against Vancouver are they not?
I think Vancouver is 2-2-0 against Calgary

Should be a lot closer series than 5 games.

And all the pressure is on VAN not the Flames. The Flames have a better shot at winning the series IMO.

Sounds like Sekera injury could be bad.

Rich Hammond @Rich_Hammond
Reading between the lines on Sutter/Regehr comments, one gets the sense that Sekera’s injury is not minor. Doctor today.
