That is a virtual guarantee of at least some success

Bahhhhh, spent a good 10+ minutes debating taking Ovechkin and Green, luckily I still won some money at least!

What are the chances of a tie? dsim40 and I only had 2 of the same players and we tied. Crazy to think that a shot or a save would have broken the tie.

^^^

Seemed like a classic trap game there. Beat the Habs, then play the back-to-back against the leafs? I guessed a low-scoring game, and picked up the TB backup for cheap.

^yes, a trap game... and I fell for it

And formulate's 43.2 would have been good for $25 in the $2 Tuesday Breakaway.

I do that all the time too. But...better to enter a bunch of different line ups and win a decent prize on one, then to use the same line up in multiple contests and potentially lose on all.
Would be VERY awesome to use the same line up and win in multiple contests...but that is a rarity.

Ha yeah. I generally put all the eggs in one basket, like I did last night at draftkings. Not suggesting it's a good strategy, but it has worked out pretty good for me - I'm up almost $500 since I started playing again, when this thread was started.

That's pretty good. I'm about $40 in the red right now with a high of $20 up at one point so my skids have been bad for me. My last dollar tonight being bet. Debating whether I will want to add money to this...

Might need a few lessons in the Eldrick School of 50/50s if I add funds.

^the nice part of hitting a big night is that it then affords the luxury of taking some chances without dipping back into your pocket to keep playing. Like my $70+ last night. Hit on all the 50/50, missed all the others (thanks Tampa). Still a decent payday, and not a big deal if I lost it all.
I lose way more regularly with multiple lineups, fwiw, but that could simply be random and some good luck.

I debated Stamkos or Ovechkin. Went Stamkos thinking most would go Ovi.

Whoops.

I don't expect to win them all, but winning only 3 of the last 24 lines I've played sucks. Especially when most of those are 50/50s. 4 or 5 were just dumb $1 ones, but the rest were mainly 50/50s and a few $2 breakaway. Would be nice to have a 1/3 winning percentage at least ha ha.

^yikes. Unlucky streak
In the last month, I have been 49/60 on fifty fifty, and 61/110 overall.

Draftkings lineup @ $17.50 in 7 contests
Crosby, Kadri, Hornqvist, O'Reilly, Sean, Brennan, Lindholm, Anderson, van Riemsdyk

Good luck to all who play today

My record is has a 1W-6L ratio, so I feel for ya.
And I've only played about a dozen 50/50's
But...you don't have to win often.
A couple of sizable wins here and there and you'll still be good.

Entered a couple more times with that lineup.
Total spent: $22.50
Total won: $25.20
Big $2.70 payday.
Won all 50/50 easily, and nothing else.
