Hayward in Anaheim, Federko in St. L, Redmond in Det all give Garrett a run for the money.
Thing is Garrett was a good color guy back when he roamed between Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver regional broadcasts back in the 90s.

Nashville is awful. Wouldn't be surprised if they get swept in the first round.

Damn....oh well.
That Jets loss may knock the wind out of their sails.

Flames are part of a small group of teams that have 20+ road wins too, so that helps.

What does the Winnipeg loss put our chances at?

making up 5 points in 5 games is almost impossible, still Jets lose was the one to get if we only got one

Jets lost 3-2 to NY Rangers (Kreider GWG) while Preds lost to Canucklehead in SO. I am not even concern about Canucks anymore. I just care about the fight for playoff spot with LA and Winnipeg.

Are people really down about that Van Nash game? Do you realize Winnipeg lost? That's all that really matters at this point to me. The chances of us catching Vancouver was next to nothing.
Winnipeg needs to likely get 7 points in their next 5 to have much of a chance to get infront of us in my opinion.

I'm not worried about the Canucks taking that game, really. We want them to perform well against LA and Winnipeg. Lets just get in, then worry about the Canucks in game 1.

I think its just the way Nashville blew it...overall the night went well
Hopefully Vancouver isn't too fat and happy now though and mail it in against LA or the Jets

The Jets won't want to leave it to the last game to get a regulation win against us so they need to go 2 points better than us until that game. 1 point behind and essentially 1 point for the ROW.

Now it's really low, I don't think it was impossible before this game though. A regulation loss would have put them 2 points ahead of the Flames with even games. Only 2 ROW extra, a possibility for the Flames to catch for sure.
They also play the Kings and Jets this week. Win those games and they would have very likely beat the Flames, but help them anyways staying ahead, or lose those games and they would have become a very reachable target.

Jets losing increased Flames playoff chances by 3.4% to 88%. Vancouver winning decreased it by 0.2%,a Nashville win would've only increased chances by 0.3%. (Source:Sportsclubstats)
No games of Flames relevance tomorrow. Fitting the Oilers play on April Fools Day.
