While I have never even down there, but it seems to me that the basement of chicken on the way might be perfect, with the exception that it is slightly outside of downtown

Bumping this.
Anyone know of a decent place (that isn't the Garage) downtown or close to it that has pool tables you can book? We're thinking of doing an unofficial after work get together but we don't want to just sit & drink, so pool tables would be a must. Oh, and they have to have Guinness on tap

National...not sure if you can book the pool tables though.

Salt lik has a pool table in the basement and bank of Baron has one too
