Not gonna lie, if the NCAA championship game is somehow between Hickey/BU and Providence, I hope the Friers blow the Terriers out with Hickey playing well but Jankowski shutting down Eichel.

Providence will play in the first Frozen Four game on April 9 at 3:00pm MT against Omaha.
BU will play North Dakota in the second game, also on April 9, with a scheduled start time of 6:30pm MT (subject to change if the first game runs long).
Both games will be broadcast in Canada on TSN2 (and ESPN2 in the US).
The post game press conference featuring Jon Gillies:
The Flames media is going to love having this guy on the team. He gives a really good interview, which is especially rare for goalies.

Really looks like it's going to be BU vs. Providence.
Hickey vs. Janko/Gillies/Gilmour. Would be a blast to watch a championship game with so many Flames prospects.
It would be tough to decide who to cheer for, as Hickey is quickly becoming one of my favorite prospects. I think I would have to go for Providence though, as Gillies plays the most important position and dragging his team to a championship would be incredible for his development... and it's looking to be his last year whereas Hickey probably has a couple more years. Not huge fans of Janko and Gilmour but they're big parts of the team and would love to see them get a championship too.

Four Flames prospects, plus the best player in College Hockey who we could draft in the 0.5% chance we win the draft lottery, and the top UFA Goaltender who the Flames have shown interest in. They all gotta get through the Frozen Four though.

Hard to tell if Hickey will get another chance as good as this.
BU had a surprising season. This was supposed to be a rebuild year.
3 of their top 4 forwards are expected to go pro (Eichel top 2 draft pick, Rodrigues UFA, Oksanen UFA).
Danny O'Regan (the other top forward) and Matt Grzelcyk (#1 defenceman) are NHL draft picks that have another year of NCAA eligibility, but may forgo that to start their pro careers.
Their #1 goalie is expected to be going pro.
If those guys leave the program it will probably take 2 years at least before BU is this competitive again.
