The only problem is I am gonna end up with a ruptured colon and die by the time they make it to the playoffs.

Oh well, it's worth it.

The hockey gods are capricious.

Feels good to fall on the pleasant side of their caprice.

After so many damaging final minute goals going against the Flames' interest, it sure is nice to have one go in favour.

Wonder if that sucks the wind out of the Jets sails. They have a pretty tough run in.

The look on Buffs face when the Hawks scored the winning goal was priceless!

Getting Pavelec'd in St. Louis should have ended the Jets then. But for Kucherov handing Winnipeg a win in Tampa the next game out, it might have. Winnipeg isn't done by a long shot, especially coming up against a Rangers team that has lost three of four, and looked ugly in all three.

So here is my question. I have to respond to my playoff tickets and I've been holding off because I didn't want to jinx them. Should I continue to hold off until the due date (April 3) or should I pay for them now?

The gods do not care if you pay for your tickets now or never.

Winnipeg smothered Tampa in that game holding them to 16 shots. I really don't think they were "handed" anything. Jets have had a very steady fancy stats run this year, one of the best 5 on 5 teams in the league. Even if we miss out the Jets took a huge leap this year and finished far above expectations. And we can add ehlers and morrisey next season.

Still... Missing after coming this close would be heart wrenching. I don't think Winnipeg and Calgary fans have much difference in how they view this season so far. Pleasant surprise with current results but heart break if no post season.

I going to be at the last game in Winnipeg. Should be a dandy! Hope both teams make it into the show!

You can pay for them now but to appease the gods you have to shotgun a beer and have a giant plate of cheap Chinese food for dinner.
