Well I think the PC's win that riding if that's what you mean? I still think that they will win about 80/87 seats. It's grim for the opposition at this point.

No surprise that Smith lost tonight. Many within the PC ranks knew this was coming and from what I know, told Prentice to distance himself from her rather than supporting her through the nomination process. This was the one riding where crossing the floor was going to make a big difference and it did. I believe Prentice will call the election April 7th and there is speculation they could win upwards of 83 seats.

Smith losing was a great day for democracy. Even better I won some bets with friends who thought Smith would win. She cooked her political goose by crossing the floor.

I haven't been following the WRA election at all. Any thoughts on where Brian Jean leans?
Is he more social conservative or fiscal conservative?
I kinda lost heart in the party due to the number of social conservative members but would definitely reconsider my support if the party could walk away from socon issues and focus on being a strong opposition.
