In theory I really like hybrid icing. The problem is there are a lot of really confusing calls so far this year.

Jones winning the race clearly a few games ago (Columbus or Colorado) yet getting called for icing for example.

Best thing that could've ever happened for Dubnyk was Sean Burk getting his mitts all over him and turning him into this goalie.

I agree, in theory it's the perfect idea. I just don't like bringing grey decisions into hockey. I like keeping things black and white.
