CCM Phasing out the Reebok Hockey Brand

With CCM phasing out the Reebok Hockey brand will we still see Reebok branded jerseys next season? Anyone have any idea?

Yup. Made sure to buy a new set of pumps this year. Never had a skate fit better. I'd hope they'll keep producing the line under the CCM brand, but I'm not positive.

I like their helmets and sticks... hated their skates. I am a little surprised by this seeing how they have Crosby as their go to guy.

You would think they would. I used to rock a pair of CCM 752's with the Reebok Pump .

It's a shame, I do like the fit of a lot of their equipment, which in fairness used to be Jofa.

Shops have been informed, and there has been a bit of it already announced (RibCor sticks and skates are now going to be CCM branded).

Hopefully CCM will take over the jersey rights when they expire.

Hopefully they will make the jerseys we buy higher quality. It is still annoying ten years later to be paying 25% more for a massively inferior product.

It will still be the same company no matter what brand name is used.

The only way the actual jerseys will change is if the NHL goes with a different supplier like Nike or Under Armour. I personally hate the look and feel of the Nike Olympic jerseys, so I hope the NHL doesn't go with them.

Yeah, I know. I just wanted to whine about the crappy crap Reebok asks us to buy.

I bet they change to CCM next year on the jersey's. Design won't change, just the brand. Pretty sure the CHL teams all switched to CCM this year.

Fine with me. Always seemed a bit odd to me when they started using a name that was associated with white aerobics shoes.
 Keep the classic CCM name.

I always found it odd to have hockey equipment made by Canadian Cycle & Motor Co.

Well they've been making skates from scrap metal from bike manufacturing since 1905.

Would love if Under Armour became the supplier, personally love the look and fit of the NCAA jerseys, definitely the best out of the three big jersey suppliers right now.

I know with the CFL this will be the last year the will have Reebok products.
The jerseys will all adidas with the rest of the gear switching next year.

Reebok will be a "life style" brand while Adidas will be equipment brand. Thats what they told us anyway.
