I think Michone is great, but I don't think she has been utilized enough this season. She was great when she was kicking ass and mentoring Carl. This season, she has sort of been on the backburner. Has she even had much dialogue this season?
Though one thing I noticed about the way this show is written is that when someone is quiet or blends into the woodwork for a bit, it usually means something big will happen and that character will be involved. Like the priest for example. He disappeared for a couple of episodes and then came out of the blue with that bombshell.

^^They've actually built the main group up big enough, that it's seems difficult for the writers to get most of them much screen time, especially when you add in the new group from Alexandria, and the development needed there.
Excited to see where they take the finale. They "cliffhangered" at the end of season 4 for the first time, and I bet they do it again at the end of this season too.

I think Gabriel will be around for a while. He's a great plot device. A constant monkey wrench that can be thrown into the gears.

They could have fewer slo-motion frolicks in the woods or extended shots of balloons floating into the night sky to create more screen time for characters. Perhaps use the extra time to advance the plot too.

Or maybe not start the episode with a long tease scene like last week before following up on the cliffhanger from the week before... It was like they were making an episode of Dragonball Z.

I think because they are all together now, there is not many smaller plots going on. People seem to come and go from the spotlight.
It seems like Carl has grown a few inches and a mustache since he last had more than a couple of sentences.
Maggie hasn't said much for awhile. Glen went a long time without being in the storyline much.

I have a bad feeling that Gabriel will cause (directly or indirectly) the death of Maggie and then Glenn will go completely off the rails and smite Gabriel.

I think that everyone in TWD fandom wants both Father Gabriel & Nicholas to be the next ones to become walker food, myself included. But with the season finale upon us, and a 1.5 hour one at that will there be blood from another major character? If so, who do you think will be the next one to go? Personally, and I hope I'm wrong about this, I think it will either be Daryl or Glenn!
I think the writers of the show have done a great job at keeping components of the comics while straying away just enough to keep even the most loyal of readers from guessing what will happen next. I think they will definitely leave this season with a major cliff hanger and I hope this isn't considered a spoiler, but with another major baddie posing a danger to the group.
So...anyone else have any predictions about tonight's finale?

I just can't see Darryl being written off the show. His character is just too interesting and popular IMO. I think of the big original season 1 characters, Carol will still be the most likely to go.
I don't think Glen gets killed, but I think he exacts some revenge tonight, probably messes up Nicholas pretty bad.
I think Gabriel lives.

I hope you're right. Daryl's character just keeps getting more interesting and many fans of the show would probably riot. And Carol might be another possibility. Not sure if anyone here watches the Talking Dead but for those who do, you'll know that they have a record with having actors who's characters have been killed off as their guests, and well, Both Reedus & Mcbride are on the couch tonight along with a mystery guest (perhaps another character not yet considered or the new villain).
So far, I think this season has been the best so far in the series. Makes me excited to find out where they're taking the show for season 6.

Aren't the Talking Dead "mystery" guests usually the person who was killed in the episode?

i don't follow the talk show circuit too much but i've seen more of the guy who plays Glenn recently. It got me thinking that he might be trying to raise his profile because he's not on next season's show.
or it could be coincidence.

The vast majority of the time yes, but they have also kept it a mystery due to actor's commitment or scheduling conflicts. So who knows.

I enjoyed it, mostly.
Why would Glenn let that guy live? He tried to kill you. Stupid.
Why wouldn't Rick raise an alarm instead of nearly dying himself.

Because Glenn is a good guy, and because it shows Rick doesn't need the community but that they need him.

Definitely one of the best seasons in the series and a great way to end it! So much going on and they left so much to look forward to for season 6. So glad Morgan is back and even more badass than ever. Well done! can't wait to see how they continue to develop this story.
Hide your kids, from Carol. Hide your wife, from Rick. Hide everyone else from the Wolves!!!

Looks like we're all set up with next seasons enemies, even though I can't figure out the elaborate trap in the semis or what poncho guys purpose is.
