If they weren't officially done before they are now. Good, one less horse in the race.

No complaints about the reffing from me. Flames need to be better, excellent PKing on that period. Now let's get a PP of our own and dice them up.

Only reason it was a penalty was because of the massive dive by Lehtonen. With that said, Bouma needs to be smarter and control his aggression a little more.

That gets called 95% of the time. It was the right call.

Bitching about refs is not unique to hockey, nevermind one hockey fanbase or board.

Well, they have Vancouver tomorrow, and still have LA and Winnipeg on the schedule. I'd rather they had something to play for in those games.

Couple posts complaining about a bad/weak call. Looking back at it in slow-mo, don't think it's a dive at all. Bouma gives Klingberg enough of a shove that Klingberg's arm and thigh hit the goalie almost squarely.
Edit: Doesn't look so bad on the initial broadcast, replay from the other angle shows more of the actual contact.

the calls have been appropriate all game so far.the only question mark is the dive and to the refs credit, he may be looking elsewhere post whistle and sees it out of the corner of his eye. Easier to not call the dive than risk calling a dive when it wasn't.

Gotta say, that wasn't the train wreck period the commentators would have us believe. 3 minors killed really well. Stajan was excellent on the PK, so was Colborne, Bouma (they killed off his aggressive penalty so all's well). Engelland directly saved a goal without any mention, Backlund was very good, so was Jooris.
Johnny and Hudler are now rested from all the the PK time.

You can post that video on any site out there and they would all call a penalty on the flames. I'm not saying other fans aren't biased, but you have to be a huge flames homer to think the Flames don't deserve a penalty there
