Haha, Wideman does the old beer league "stop playing and look at my stick for a couple of seconds after missing a shot" leading to a two on one.

In Cancun,
Can't find the game on local TV. Colorado game was fortunately broadcast on SkySports. Any sites for live streaming?
Haven't done that in a while.
Much obliged...

The Flames still have the better conditioning, so the Stars will fade first.

Aah, so close. Nice setup there.
Top line looks like it's starting to round into form this game.

Finally some pressure. Up until this point it's looked like the Flames forgot how to complete a pass.

That double minor made the shot clock go in the Stars favor in a big way, but the Stars have really owned this game so far. Flames need to get skating.

this is why advanced stats and the Flames don't work
Flames work to set up high percentage shots...I mean look they have two shots but one of them is a grade A scoring chance that goes in more than not. They aren't just firing wrist shots at the goalies chest

Nice sneaky shot from Russell. The Flames starting to take control here.

Really like what Colborne is bringing the past few games. Feels like he has a bunch more confidence out there and using his body a lot more. If anything it'd be nice to see him use his upper body more when getting physical. He seems to bend over a lot (I know what that's like being tall) and it makes him smaller out there.
Otherwise, the Diaz-Schlemko pairing is a lot less scary than the Smid-Engelland pairing from earlier on. Seems like they hold their own.
