At this point, I honestly don't care if it's the 2nd seed, 3rd seed, or 8th seed. As long as Flames make it into the playoffs, that's all that matters.

With this win, Vancouver is pretty well in the playoffs. It's a race between us, Kings, and Jets. 2/3 will make it, unless Minny basically loses out. We are positioned well, especially considering that we should hold tiebreakers with both Kings and Jets at the end of the season.

Thankfully that ended in regulation. The OOT went from being a disaster to being slightly less of a disaster.

I'm going to stop hoping other teams in playoff contention lose and just hope the Flames can win most of their games.

Flames now 2 back of WPG with a game in hand and the tie breaker. If the goal is playoffs, this was a great result. If the goal is 2nd in PAC, you can kiss that goodbye.

I'm sure it is going to come down to the last two games of the year. I'm hoping for a situation where Calgary only has to win one of the two to make the playoffs.
