Does anybody have any idea what was the largest amount of points Gaudreau trailed behind Forsberg during the year? And when was that?

The largest amount of points Johnny has trailed Forsberg by is 9, several times throughout the season.
Most recently, was February 12, when Forsberg got 2 points to hit 50, and Johnny had 1, to hit 41.
Since then, Johnny has 16 points in 17 games, compared to Forsberg's 5 points in 18 games.

All I know is this.
If Gaudreau wins the Calder. Glenn Healy should be forced to present it to him at the awards ceremony.

I try to avoid seeing his face as much as possible so I could have missed it. But has anyone called him out on that trash recently?

USA Today did a poll of 12 voting members for the NHL awards today.
Had Forsberg 1st with 51 points (4 first place votes), Gaudreau 2nd with 48 points (5 first place votes). Ekblad 3rd (3 first place votes).
Going to be a close one.
They also did some of the other awards too.

And scroll through the MVP, norris, vezina ect..
I found it on another site because one of the guys said he was voting I may have misinterpreted as them as actual voters or just 12 media people who voted. But interesting none the less.

You'd have to go back to the 1998-1999 season to see a rookie forward who wasn't leading the rookie scoring race win the Calder. Drury and his 44 points beat out his teammate Hejduk and his 48. Since then every forward rookie to win the Calder also won the scoring race.* Myers, Mason, Jackman, and Nabokov were the only non-fowards to win it in that time.
Nugent-Hopkins and Landeskog tied in points, Landeskog had more goals giving him the 'title' but RNH missed a decent chunk of games.

^ Gabrial Landeskog reminds me of Zemgus Girgensons. All hype but doesn't play like he's promoted.
All talk and no walk.

Does Hammond get a mention in this category now?
14-0-1 now and (not quite) single-handedly carrying his team into a playoff position.
If he starts the rest of the games he'll have about 25 games. Is a quarter of the season enough?

Nope.
If a quarter of a season lost puts Gio out of Norris contention... 1/4 of a season played doesn't put Hammond in Calder contention at all.

Is Hammond even qualified for the Calder? Isn't he too old?

I believe he's too old to win it. He's 27 and on the NHL.com stats page, he isn't categorized as a rookie.

You realize they're both 21, right? I'd kill to have either on this team.

Back to the Healy comments,
Is there a tweet or video link or audio clip or something somewhere with a date on it where this moron said whatever it is that he said?
I'd really like for us to not let go of this, ....

You could've had Girgensons, but now you have Jankowski and Sieloff.
