The NHL needs to implement a system where an official of some sort stands on the line and whose job is to make sure if the puck crosses the line, a line man of some kind.

Hahaha. I forgot about the Flames 3rd goal and was really, really disappointed when the Avalanche scored their second goal. I was thinking we were tied. So now I'm feeling a lot better now that I've realized it's 3-2.
Lack of sleep is getting to me.

I don't think the refs get paid enough to cover up and participate in a conspiracy against the Flames (or any team for that matter)

Agreed. Hopefully Morrison and Wotherspoon and Ferland push those three off the roster.

I honestly don't think it's an anti Flames or pro American teams thing. I truly believe what we're witnessing is an attempt to keep the race for the playoffs as close as possible.
I would not be one bit surprised if that was happening on some level. Very noticeable when it's a team just inside vs a team on the outside that cold make it with a winning streak.
