I guess "never given, always earned" never applied to Raymond...

He's been a healthy scratch a few times this year and is now on the 4th line. I'd say it still applies.

Like it or not, he's produced more than Ferland or the kids who've been called up.
Ferland is obviously a guy who will play, and play a lot in the future. But as a rookie call-up, who has provided energy but not a lot of points, he's going to sit every so often.

I dunno, he's 6th on the team in average TOI for Forwards (7th if you count Glencross)
and 4th in PPTOI for forwards, behind only the Big 3.

What was Sven's production as a Flame? What is Raymond's?

He should be embarrassed for a local product. Plays soft... would make a good Oiler. Half hearted effort or so it appears

and after his hot start (7 pts in first 7GP), he has 12 pts in his last 40 GP.

That's how he rolls, and everyone knew it. His points in the last 40 games played came in a few bunches as well.
It's time he started a streak again, it's true. But he's more likely to produce than Ferland or (if he was still in the system) Sven. More than Granlund and pretty much the same as Jooris (both of whom you could call streaky as well).

Oh, we are counting last year as well? You forgot Raymond's totals then.
Seriously, Sven had no goals at all this year. Raymond has 12 in 47 games.

I did, but I figured we'd look at the same time frame too. So either we go just this year with the same teammates, or over two years, with different ones. Your choice. Either way, Mason Raymond has a better track record.

Now's the perfect time for Raymond to go on one of his typical stretches where he gets something like 6 points in the next 10 games, and bumps that up to a 0.439.

The opportunities are not identical so how can we even compare the production?
But okay " the same time frame" it is:
Between Nov 02nd 2014 thru Feb 02 2015:
Sven Baertschi: 4 assists -3 in 15 games
Mason Raymond: 2 goals 2 assists, -5 in 19 games

So you're saying that Raymond has been as bad as Baertschi?
And you want Raymond gone, but you're mad that Baertschi is gone?

I hope so, i just want to be in the playoffs.
But, well last time Sven actually finished an NHL season he put up with 3 goals and 6 assists in his last 7 games which if we gave him the next 10 games would bump him up to a .487

You mean back in 2012-13? When he tried hard and stuff?
2 were against Edmonton so that hardly counts.
