Isn't there another forum for discussing Canucks prospects? Heck since we are discussing Canucks prospects how's Jake Virtanen doing? Hunter Shinkaruk? Maybe we can change the title to the "Official Canucks Prospect Thread" seeing Canucks prospects are a popular discussion at CP.

He's gone people. Get over it. Nothing is going to bring him back and for better or worse he's the subject for a different team's fan base.

The persecution complex is so thick with these sorts of posts. It's not "refusing to believe the Flames may have made a mistake with Sven." It is refusing to jump to conclusions without further additional evidence that this is indeed the case.

Furthermore, it is one thing to suggest that Baertschi's offensive potential remains high, and quite another to conclude from this that trading him was in fact a mistake on the Flames' part. Given the circumstances, it seems entirely possible that the decision to trade him and the return they received was the right decision regardless of Baertschi's success or failure in meeting high expectations.
