I'm not optimistic at all either TBQH.
Expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
Secondary scoring has dried up quite a bit too. Need more than just one line scoring or trouble is coming.

We have to take care of Colorado and Dallas the next two games at home. It enables us to go .500 on the 5 game road trip.

Staying optimistic about our chances. If we play the way we did today down the stretch then we have no chance. We will likely lose one of two to Dallas with Seguin back. Edmonton and Arizona should be sure things. It may just come down to the last two games of the season, and wouldn't that be just fitting?

Prediction: 7 teams already clinched a playoff spot going into the final game against Winnipeg. The Flames are 2pts behind the Jets and need a win in regulation for the last wild card spot, but they win in overtime instead. The hockey gods feel sorry for our misfortune and reward us with McDavid.

Looking today like they'll go 4-6 but history says 6-4.

6-4 should be enough, especially if one of those six wins is against the Kings.

Let's be optimistic and say the team goes 5-4-1 for 11 points and finishes with 95. OTL to the Blues and Wins against Dallas, Nashville, Edmonton, Arizona, and Winnipeg.

Like that would ever happen. Let's try to be somewhat realistic............no way does Eichel play the wing.

Hate to say it, but the wheels look to be coming off. Defense looks tired. No scoring other than the 1st line. Tough finish ahead. Been a great ride though. Hoping it goes a little longer, but this is a team that has looked like a losing streak was right around the corner.

I bet if you posted this thread after the Flyers win, you'd have way more positive responses.
One OT loss, and everyone is Debbie Downer XL.

Haha. Read the thread. I bet 8 or 9 out of 10 are predicting six wins or more.

Good for 16 points, rounding us out to an OCD calming 100.

It's not the wing. It's more like "This Monahan guy is really good in this Slot Wing area so I'll be the Right Center and we will cruise to the next three cups before my ELC is up and everything goes to ****"

I have no idea.
But I do know that if we beat Colorado and Dallas at home in the next 2 games, we'll probably need to win 3 or 4 of the next 8 to get in. Basically, .500 from there on in.
So, the next 2 will go a long way to determining our hopes.
