Would have thought the Caps would have multiple options with their AHL affiliate that would better fill that spot. Strange starting of Glencross' tenure as a Cap indeed.
Yeah, like Filip Forsberg.

He's a good player that was miscast in Calgary getting too much ice time and being mismatched with skill players. He's getting 12 minutes a night and playing a lot better in Washington.
I still wouldn't have minded keeping him for depth going into the playoffs (or making a run into the playoffs).
Glad he is doing well in Washington. I don't get the sulking comments either. Sure, he could be a grumpy guy on the ice sometimes, but I never got the sense he was pouty or sulky.

Glad he's playing well and thought he would step it up. That was always my gripe with him. He only seemed to play when he felt like it. What I really like is how we've played since he was traded. Not one passenger in the lineup.

I'm glad he's somewhere he's appreciated, he deserves it. He was very good to us (on and off the ice). Great guy. I hope he goes on a tear in the playoffs.

That's the thing though. He wouldn't have gone on a tear in the playoffs for us so I'm glad we got something for him. Those streaks of him playing well were few and far between the last few years.
Calgary hasn't skipped a beat and hasn't really missed him in terms of play in the lineup. I am glad he has been successful in Washington. A trade that was good for both sides.

See, rubbish like this really annoys me(not you sureLoss, Kuznetsov. He immediately after that line then says its not his business. Damn right son, you clearly don't have a clue. We trade him because he stone cold. We trade him because play is in line with 3rd line player. He then complain when being played on 3rd line. We trade him because he UFA in the summer and not going to re-sign.
You were asked whats it like playing with Glencross. Take your own advice and answer the question.
