At what point does Dubynk start to slow down from playing so many consecutive games or just games in general? One more game for Dubynk would tie his career high for starts in a season (47 when he was in Edmonton).

Still applies. Flames can place in division or can nab wildcard. Same applies to all teams in question in Pacific. Not so much to central teams (who currently hold wildcard spots).
So playoff race would be a good title

Big night tonight with the Canucks, Wild, Jets, and Flames all in action.
Best case scenario is obviously a Columbus win, Washington win, St. Louis win, Calgary win
Toronto win, Arizona win, Pittsburgh win to put those other teams (San Jose, Colorado, and Dallas) to bed.

This is a good time to show the eastern wild card race as the Bruins-Senators play a big game tonight. It's not as close and exciting as the western race.
Pittsburgh (39-21-10) 36 ROW, 88 pts
Detroit (38-19-11) 35 ROW, 87 pts--third in the Atlantic Division
1. Washington (38-23-10) 34 ROW, 86 pts
2. Boston (36-23-11) 33 ROW, 83 pts--and fourth in the Atlantic Division
3. Ottawa (34-24-11) 29 ROW, 79 pts--and fifth in the Atlantic Division
4. Florida (31-25-14) 24 ROW, 76 pts

Ottawa's record is wrong - 34-24-11. They have a game in hand on Boston, so if they win tonight they're two points back with a game in hand although they'd lose the ROW tiebreak.
Will be interesting to see how this changes after tonight:

Minnesota's loss suddenly bring them back into the race. What a great time of the year!

Canucks too. A loss to King's and a Flames win over the Jackets and Calgary is back in second.
Anything in a row changes the outlook dynamically right now.
You're right... It's so much fun.

So many teams in contention for so many spots for so long, with teams changing spots sometimes several times a week.
This is one crazy playoff race, I feel this has to be somewhat unusual.

This is good - CGY just has to out-perform one team out of four to make it.

The Canucks and Jets keep finding ways to end up with results that no one has any good reason to expect... Jets beat the Blues, Preds and Kings; Canucks lose to the Jackets, Coyotes and Sabres. Who even knows.
The reasonable expectation is that by end of tomorrow the Flames will be in 2nd in the PAC.
