I'm cheering for the Kings. I think the Canucks have a better chance of choking than the Kings.

Finally a favourable OOT scoreboard for us (at least on a couple of games).

I really don't understand the Canucks this year. They have won some games convincingly against the best in the league, some teams who have whooped us pretty good. Yet they routinely get stomped by bubble teams, bottom feeders and even the "McDavid sweepstakes" teams.

Well as long as they make the playoffs we should be all good to win the cup

Landeskog scores the empty net goal makes the final score 5-2 Avalanche.

Blake Price and Geoff Patterson are going to need oxygen supplements on the post game show. The nuclear meltdown has started and it will be entertaining to listen to.
I wonder how smug the Canucks media is now about Eddie Lack. Yesterday, there was no worry about Miller being out for the rest of the regular season. Tonight, the panic button has been hit multiple times.

well hes made 3 stars something like 7 of the 12 games since Millers injury, so anyone hitting the panic button would do so about any random thing they could
the Canucks lost tonight when they didnt put the wild away after about 25 minutes, they were out shooting them about 25-6 and then just kind of let up expecting columbus to as well, and could never put their foot on the gas

I think you meant to say the BJs. The Canucks media will hit the panic button at random when anything doesn't go right for their team. Look at last year when Lack took over after Loserongo was traded. Speaking of the 3 stars, I can't believe Horvat was chosen as the 3rd star on Sportsnet.

That is assuming that the goal is to see the Flames make the playoffs one way or another.

No, we don't cheer for the Canucks on Saturday because that is a cardinal sin! We hope the Kings annihilate them and ruin Eddie Lack's confidence. The Flames are hot on the Canucks' tail (and the Wild's too for that matter). The fight is also for 2nd place in the division and the 1st wild card spot. You want as many teams close by so the Flames can overtake their position instead of relying on the team to lose with the least amount of points.

It was obvious the Sharkies were going to pull off the win, the Leafs are brutal. It's the Avs that are into a winning streak as they beat the Coyotes and have won 3 in a row and 6 of their last 7 games. Iggy scored too! The Penguins and Islanders are going the other way as both teams have lost 4 straight. The Penguins lose a close game, 2-1 to the Stars in reg time. The Stars could start a winning streak to end the season. I like how the Capitals got revenge on the Wild after the Wild won last week in Washington. Carey Price gets the 31 save SHUTOUT as the Habs beat the Hurricanes 4-0, the Habs are 1st in the east again and tied with the Ducks for 1st overall. Gotta love the Sens getting back in the race with the Hamburglar and Lazar eating the burger on ice. That will be a youtube sensation and on the sports funnies everywhere. Jagr passes Phil Esposito on the all time goal list. The Panthers beat Detroit 3-1 and are still in the playoff race.

I'll bet you won't.
Watched Bruins / Senators this morning and I'm going to go ahead and call that "game of the year".
