Quick question, I missed the 2nd. Why is Emery in? Was Mason pulled, or hurt?

Just pulled, no injury. Berube's called him out in the past, but I think this was more to try and spark the team rather than the goalie's themselves. Looked like it worked for a bit, Emery with a few nice saves off the bat and Philly scored right after

Pulled after the 2nd goal, which was weak. Still, bit of a surprise jank.

What a beautiful defensive play by Mony to set up that 2 on 1.
We've beat this dead horse before, by man am I ever impressed with Monahan on all areas of the ice.

That was a pretty weak call, looked like a pretty run-of-the-mill hockey play.
5 on 3 better pad the lead.

Mason was seemingly pulled after the 2nd goal that he couldn't see, but it's possible it was to wake the team up because they were playing really poorly for a stretch.

BUT...Mason has had a couple nagging injuries this year so it might have been something that was aggravated.

In short, I don't know.

They pulled him after the second goal.
Didn't look injured, and had looked pretty good up until that point.
It was a weird pull.
